The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a legally required document that addresses the nature and significance of all effects from fish farming and the appropriate actions to be taken by the operator to eliminate or minimise these impacts. Our experience of the aquaculture industry and the EIA process ensures that we can advise on appropriate mitigation measures.
The EIA brings together all the issues relating to the development of the fish farm, including visual impact, natural and cultural heritage, ecology and environmental impact from organic and chemical waste. In addition, the developments interaction with the neighbouring sites and local fisheries are considered discussed with relevant local organizations.
An EIA booking form is available here or contact us for any further information on specific projects.
