The Analytical Services Division provides analytical services to a wide variety of customers in the food and environmental sectors.

The modern, UKAS and LabCred accredited Microbiology Laboratory carries out analyses for a wide range of foodborne and environmental pathogens on water, swabs and food products. Shelf life testing is available. The newly refurbished Chemistry Laboratory carries out analyses on environmental samples, water and food.

Both laboratories offer other analyses by arrangement and a contract research and development facility is also available to assist in development projects and one-off problem solving.
